Terms of Service & EULA
Last updated: May 30, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of SediciFX products and services. SediciFX is operated by GABBY16BIT, TRŽNO KOMUNICIRANJE, D.O.O., Partizanska Ulica 53B, 5000 Nova Gorica, Slovenia, VAT ID SI48247936.
In these Terms, "SediciFX", "we", "us", and "our" refer to GABBY16BIT, TRŽNO KOMUNICIRANJE, D.O.O., trading as SediciFX.
By purchasing from our site or installing the Software, you represent that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not complete your purchase and do not install the Software.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
1. End User License Grant
Subject to compliance with these terms and payment of the applicable license fee, SEDICI FX grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the Software.
- Single User License (Personal/Commercial): Each license purchase is tied to a single user and allows simultaneous activation of the Software on a maximum of 2 (two) computers (for example, a desktop workstation in your studio and a laptop), provided that these systems are used exclusively by the original purchaser of the license.
- Seat Management: You can manage which devices are active by associating the license key with your email address in our Client Portal. Through the portal, you can remove or deactivate a computer at any time to free up a seat and use it on a new device.
2. Activation Requirements & Technical Protection Measures (DRM)
To prevent unauthorized use of the license and enable flexible seat synchronization, the Software integrates a technical protection measure (DRM).
Offline Functionality & Periodic Validation: The Software is designed to fully support offline editing and does not require a constant internet connection. However, to renew the local security state and sync authorization data, the Software will run an automatic check in the background. An active internet connection (lasting a few seconds) is required at least once every 45 (forty-five) consecutive days.
If the Software is unable to connect to the license servers to validate the key status after the 45-day offline period, the license will be temporarily deactivated and the Software will display a trial watermark or an inactive license prompt. Connecting the system to the internet will instantly reactivate the Software without requiring you to purchase a new key.
3. Technical Requirements & Compatibility
The user is responsible for ensuring that their hardware and software configuration meets the minimum requirements stated on the product page before purchasing.
The current minimum requirements for QuickZoom Pro include:
- macOS 12 or newer, or Windows 10/11.
- Adobe Premiere Pro (version 2022 or newer).
- An internet connection (required strictly for initial activation and automatic license validation every 45 days).
QuickZoom Pro is an independent SediciFX plugin. It does not include Adobe Premiere Pro, does not resell Adobe products, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe.
4. Trial Version & Refund Policy
SEDICI FX strongly encourages users to try the Software before purchasing. We provide a free trial version ("Trial"), which can be requested via email on our site, to check technical compatibility and performance on your workstation.
Refunds: Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and online reseller. Refunds, statutory withdrawal requests, tax invoices, payment support and eligible returns are handled by Paddle according to Paddle's buyer terms, Paddle's refund policy, and applicable consumer law. If any statement on this website conflicts with Paddle's buyer terms or mandatory consumer rights, Paddle's terms and the applicable law take priority.
5. Usage Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software or bypass its license protection measures.
- Distribute, rent, sublicense, sell, or transfer the license key or copies of the Software to third parties without the prior written consent of SEDICI FX.
- Use the same license key on more devices than authorized (2 computers for the exclusive use of the owner).
6. Limitation of Liability
The Software is provided "as is" (AS IS). SEDICI FX does not warrant that the Software will be entirely error-free or run uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SEDICI FX will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Software, including any crashes or issues caused by updates of third-party host applications (such as Adobe Premiere Pro).
7. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms or the features of the Software at any time to adapt to legal, technical, or commercial changes. Modifications will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page and will apply to all subsequent purchases or license renewals.
